Neale had a ruff summer. His pre-unit had one too. You can't tell in this picture but the frame is real bent from an accident.

He's looking for a pre-unit frame if anyone has any leads.

On a recent visit to jolly 'ol he came back with this girder. After a sandblast and a quick looksee of how it might look on a bike there is no denying that Neale is fucking stoked...

W800....

the re-pop w800 has been creating quite a bit of buzz as of late.

And the triumph crowd is pissy as usual. Claiming copy cat crap.

And although way back in the late 60s this may have been the case, it isn't today....

What the triumph crowd fail to understand is Kawi came out with the re-pop of the w650 before Triumph dared with the Bonneville re-pop.

In fact Triumph was almost convinced that the Bonneville re-pop would kill their business and fought pretty hard to stop it from happening. Boy were they wrong.

Also in comparison reviews the W650 fared better on average than the Triumph in all aspects.

It's a damn shame we wont get to see the new W800 this side of the pond as it is strictly a euro offering....

It took about a year since Neale went and picked up this little bastard in boxes. A lot of blood, sweat and beers from a lot of the guys went into it.

Hours in the freezing garage, countless cigarettes and too many missing pieces made for a long but enjoyable process.

Last night after Rob finished up the wiring and the new 18" rear was sorted she went for her first ride...

Of course why wouldn't we be?

This is invariably the response week in and week out to the question...Are we heading to the 'Wack this weekend? 

Now when we mention the 'Wack, we mean Chilliwack, British Columbia. Not the classic rock group of the same name, although Tallboy told me they named themselves that because they came from there. That's not the point though....

The point is there is basically no fucking reason to go to the 'Wack unless you want corn, or live in Hope and if that's the case Chilliwack is like the city to you. We only go out to see Ken, who is an old school genius who welds everything and anything we can throw at him.

Getting out there usually involves a sketchy cube van, an hour at least on the road sitting on lawn chairs in the back of the van and 1 or more bikes tied down if we are lucky enough to remember to bring the straps.

Why bother telling you all this? Simple if you live in BC and need something, go see Ken. He makes one off frames for new Bonnies, sells all kinds of cool bikes, and is a good guy just to drop in and shoot the shit with and see what he is working on. Plus he helped us out large.
