W800....

the re-pop w800 has been creating quite a bit of buzz as of late.
And the triumph crowd is pissy as usual. Claiming copy cat crap.
And although way back in the late 60s this may have been the case, it isn't today....

What the triumph crowd fail to understand is Kawi came out with the re-pop of the w650 before Triumph dared with the Bonneville re-pop.
In fact Triumph was almost convinced that the Bonneville re-pop would kill their business and fought pretty hard to stop it from happening. Boy were they wrong.

Also in comparison reviews the W650 fared better on average than the Triumph in all aspects.

It's a damn shame we wont get to see the new W800 this side of the pond as it is strictly a euro offering....

Second glance....Twice as nice

Now this is the shit. I've seen countless double motor bikes over the years, lots of triumph drag bikes.
Shit a a few months back in the Horse there was a double motored Norton Chop.

But this ol' coots scoot is the tits. Double engined A65 hill climber.
I can't wait to get old and start building kooky shit

Going thru boxes of parts in the shop came across this OG tommaselli dual pull throttle assembly.
A little clean up and its all shiny and ready to go
It'll be pulling a set of round slide Mukini 38s

75 pounds of bullshit

A while back a good friend helped me pick up a bike I had been actively searching out for quite some time.
Well a 20 some hour round trip and a few sheckles later it came back home with us....

It sat for months in the shop but tonite i shed the crap and got a start on putting things right with it...

expect delays.....

With everything that has been going on with the 'ol insurance company I was keeping a low profile just in case.Well that and planning a wedding and fighting with the BSA. Working 10 hour days.

Well you get the point. But things are back on track....
