Mustang to Alien part 3

Well after all is said and done threw on some bondo to smooth out some of the welds and massage the rib a little.
Body work is my least favourite thing to do. Lucky for me I had the help of both Jer and Eric form the shop on the lower side of town....
The tank is almost done. Rach will give it her magic touch and that will be it...

Mocked up on the frame to see where the tank would sit and how it would look with the engine.

Robby got busy welding in the tunnel, after the mock up...

Then he filled the gaps by the cap....

I cleaned up the welds before we tacked the rod for the rib down...

Now comes the cleaning up and body work...

Got some time this weekend away from the BSA to start buttoning up the re-build on Rach's RD350. We sat until 4am plugging away and got up until the point where the pistons can go back in and the jugs back on
